Elder Ricky Jones was born in Dillon, SC to the late Elijah & Emogene Manning Jones. He is married to Athena Bernard Jones. Elder Jones was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 18. Elder Jones holds a B.A. Degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University. He has worked as an Eighth Grade Teacher, an Instructor with the Basic Skills Program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Vocational Evaluator.  As of 1999, Pastor Jones left the world of work and committed himself to full-time Ministry at the Greater Highway Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop R.F. Davis, Sr. He assisted Bishop R.F. Davis at the Greater Highway Church of Christ of Latta, SC for 3 years, GHCOC Dillon, SC for 2 years, and Faith Tabernacle Christian Center in Salemburg, NC (formerly GHCOC) for 2 years. In October 2005, Elder Jones was installed as Pastor of GHCOC Fayetteville, NC during the National General Convention.
