New Life Temple was conceived in the heart of Pastor Robert G. Johnson Sr. by an unction of the Holy Ghost. He forthwith reserved a conference room at the Ramada Inn in Essington, Pennsylvania where the ministry was birthed on February 8, 1998. The first Cry Loud message was entitled “We Got A Hunch.” The Lord sent more families to worship with his family that day and it became evident that more space was needed. In 1999, the present edifice was purchased after a brief tenure at the Redwood Community Playhouse in Upland, Pennsylvania. The church logo is an eagle as typified in Isaiah 40:31. Our theme song is “Holding On.” Both represent the strength and mind of the workers God placed in the vineyard who are given the option by Pastor Johnson to choose which committee to work on as they desire. We observe and obey the Apostle’s Doctrine where in we baptize in the name of Jesus upon repentance and request as well as received the Holy Ghost. We praise God through song and in the dance and strive daily to live by God’s holy Word. Here at New Life Temple abides the spirit of the Lord and Liberty!
